Bobo Doll
(2) One of the most famous experiments of observational learning, by Albert Bandura, called the bobo doll experiment. In this experiment Mr. Bandura took 3 groups of children ranging from ages 3-6, an aggressive group who watched adults beat the doll, a non-aggressive group who played with other toys with the doll present in the room, and a control group who was not exposed to the doll at all.
The groups were then given the chance to interact with the doll after the researchers attempted to upset the children, and the results showed that the aggressive group had more imitated aggressive acts on the bobo doll then the non-aggressive group. |
